Brazilian Climatechs Forum, with vice-president Geraldo Alckimin and environment minister Marina Silva

On July 23, 2024, we were with the federal government to launch the Brazilian Climatechs Forum, an alliance between organizations that develop and promote different technological and innovative products and services to the market, in different areas of activity, which result in positive environmental externalities , with a special focus on the potential to reduce or sequester greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere.

Alongside the vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin, the minister of the environment, Marina Silva, the deputy executive secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Rafael Dubeux, the Special Deputy Secretary of the Civil House, Júlia Marinho and the Director of Digital Transformation of the MDIC , Marcos Toscano, the Forum demonstrated that there is an emerging economic sector in Brazil based on technology and the fight against climate change.

During the meeting, demands were presented related to regulatory issues, unlocking capital and the Forum's intention to be an interlocutor for the sector with the federal government. We appreciate the availability and commitment that public agents, especially vice-president Geraldo Alckmin and minister Marina Silva, demonstrated after our meeting.

Stattus4's participation in this event was very special, as reaffirms our commitment to water security in cities – an essential issue that must be addressed. We believe that smart cities are the inevitable path to achieving sustainability and resilience, and our leak detection technology in water distribution is fundamental to contributing to a more sustainable Brazil and world.
