Stattus4 is among the 3 finalists for the Zayed Prize in the Water category

Stattus4 has been internationally recognized as one of the 3 global finalists in the Water category Zayed Sustainability Prize 2026, one of the world's leading awards focused on innovation and social impact in sustainability.

There were 7,761 entries from 173 countries, and only 33 initiatives made it to the final stage. Stattus4 is the only Brazilian representative in the Water category, a historic milestone for the country and the sanitation sector.

In the award's 17 years of existence, this is only the second time a Brazilian project has achieved this distinction. It's a national technology focused on intelligent water management.

The winners will be announced on January 13, 2026, during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, one of the most important events on the global innovation and environmental calendar.

Global recognition for Brazilian innovation in water

Stattus4's presence among the finalists for the Zayed Prize puts Brazil and the national sanitation sector in the international spotlight.

What is the Zayed Sustainability Prize?

The Zayed Sustainability Prize (Zayed Sustainability Prize) is a United Arab Emirates initiative created to recognize innovative and high-impact solutions in different areas linked to sustainable development.

Since its creation, the award has recognized 128 projects worldwide, generating direct benefits for millions of people.

The name “Zayed” honors Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder and first president of the United Arab Emirates—a visionary leader who believed in balancing economic progress with environmental preservation.

Zayed Prize Categories

The Award covers five major areas that represent pillars of global sustainability:

• Health: solutions that improve access to and quality of health services.
  
• Food / Agribusiness (Food): projects that increase food security and the efficient use of resources.
  
• Energy: technologies that promote energy transition and efficiency.
  
• Water: innovations that guarantee access, management and sustainable use of water — a category in which Stattus4 is a finalist.
  
• Global High Schools: encouraging young people from around the world to develop sustainable solutions — and, in this cycle, a Brazilian school is also among the finalists.
  

Each category recognizes scalable, sustainable, and measurable impact projects with real potential to transform communities and ecosystems.

The awards ceremony will take place in Abu Dhabi in January 2026, during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, an event that brings together global leaders, researchers, and impact companies.
